Project 50’s First States Convening
This month, Project 50 state partners from across the country joined us in Chicago for our first States Convening. We were joined by Access Missouri, Indiana Reproductive Freedom PAC, repro46, Progress Arkansas Project, Gender Justice Action Fund, ReproRising VA and West Virginia Free. Unfortunately, our partners in Wyoming, Wyo United, were snowed in and weren’t able to join us but we look forward to seeing them soon in Wyoming!
The convening kicked off with a welcome reception hosted by Executive Director of Indiana Reproductive Freedom PAC, Liane Hulka. Thank you so much for hosting us, Liane!
On Saturday, state partners enjoyed presentations on a variety of topics, including ReproRising VA’s 2025 electoral program, polling, state based education work, fundraising, ballot initiatives, building boards, and more. State partners also enjoyed the opportunity to connect with another in breakout groups and over breakfast and lunch.
We’re so grateful to all of our state partners who took time out of their busy schedules to join us and be in community with one another. We look forward to the 2027 convening!
Indiana Reproductive Freedom PAC’s Annual Event
Last week, Project 50’s Political Director traveled to Indiana to attend Indiana Reproductive Freedom PAC’s annual event. IRF PAC exceeded their fundraising goal and it was a joy to be in a room with an energized community ready to fight for reproductive freedom this year.
Project 50’s Executive Director, Bryan Howard, traveled to Missouri to attend one of Access Missouri’s spring fundraising events with Project 50 board members, Kathleen Sebelius. Missourians are fired up for the midterm elections!

How We Win
The How We Win Forum on Tuesday, May 5th is a unique pro-choice fundraiser that puts a spotlight on these leaders who are winning state and local elections for abortion.
This year we’re thrilled to spotlight leaders from ReproRising VA who secured four critical victories in 2025 to protect abortion access in Virginia, the last access point in the South.
Please join us on Tuesday, May 5th to help ensure these selfless leaders have the resources to win elections for reproductive freedom this year.
