Emily Favreau is a communications strategist with experience across politics, advocacy, entertainment, and social impact. She began her career in Washington, D.C., serving as Deputy Press Secretary to U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown.

After moving to Los Angeles, Emily worked at Sunshine Sachs, where her clients included Chelsea Handler, Snoop Dogg, Homeboy Industries, and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. She later led communications for a national organization focused on women’s rights and workplace equality. As an independent consultant, she has worked on communications and partnerships with Vote Save America, Clare Vivier, and the Guthy-Jackson Charitable Foundation.

Emily serves on the Board of Directors of Homeboy Industries, the world’s largest gang rehabilitation and reentry program. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Jon, their sons Charlie, 6, and Teddy, 2½, and their goldendoodle, Leo, 12.
