New York City 2025

Project 50 hosted a gathering at the Monarch Foundation's space in New York to discuss the state of reproductive rights across America during this critical time. Board member Laura Ensler and the full host committee brought together supporters for the evening, which featured special guest Dana Sandweiss, who traveled from St. Louis to share the work of Access MO, her organization building political power for reproductive freedom in Missouri.

Guests also heard from Project 50 board member and former Illinois State Senator Toi Hutchinson, whose energy and determination inspired the room. The evening reinforced Project 50's mission to grow state-based organizations that build electoral expertise and resources to secure reproductive rights in all 50 states, and underscored the urgency of that work as attacks on abortion access continue to spread and millions remain without care in their home states.
