Project 50 hosted a gathering at the New York City home of Jill and Barry Lafer to learn more about the organization's work and its state partners. The evening was made possible by the Lafers and a dedicated host committee, and featured special guests Illinois Lieutenant Governor Juliana Stratton, former U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services and Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius, and WREN Senior Director of Policy and Government Relations Ashley Lidow.
Guests heard how state partners are working on the ground in to elect pro-choice candidates and hold them accountable once in office. The evening highlighted how Project 50's partnership provides strategic and tactical knowledge, seed financing, and relationship-building opportunities that strengthen the fight to protect reproductive rights.
