Martha's Vineyard 2026

Project 50 returned to Martha's Vineyard for an evening featuring remarks from board member Dr. Nikki Zite and Executive Director Bryan Howard, who spoke about the tragic impact of abortion bans and the critical work of Project 50's state partners in re-establishing access to reproductive healthcare in ban states. Hosts Susan and Stuart Lucas and Diane and Paul Reilly, along with co-hosts Michelle Boyers, Janice Christensen, Amy Schumacher, and May Wall, brought together a group of supporters for the occasion.

The event also marked the launch of Project 50's 2026 Election Matching Challenge, made possible by a $150,000 pledge from three longtime donors. Bryan shared a quote from board member Tina Tchen that captured the spirit of the evening: "We can't leave people behind just because we're in communities that are safe." With partnerships now in 8 states and a 9th launching in Louisiana, Project 50 is focused on helping state partners sharpen their campaign plans ahead of the November midterms and turn momentum into wins for reproductive rights in abortion ban states.
