Job Description

Project50 is seeking enthusiastic and qualified individuals for our Fall 2026 internship program who are interested in and passionate about state-specificefforts to secure and defend reproductive rights.

Project50 is the only national organization working to establish and strengthenindependent reproductive rights-focused political organizations in all 50states. Our mission is to create state-based political infrastructure to elect state legislators who willsupport and expand abortion healthcare access. You can learn more at project50pac.org!

About the Job

Regular intern responsibilities vary from fundraising support to research analysis toevent planning and include, but are not limited to:

●      Donor, movement, and landscape research

●      Event preparation and outreach

●      Database maintenance

●      Designing outreach materials, predominantly forsocial media accounts (knowledge of Canva is appreciated but not required)

●      Staffing in-person and virtual events

●      Collaborating with staff on meetings, etc.

●      Providing other support as needed

Project50 interns will gain diverse exposure that provides them insight to andexperience within the political infrastructure and day-to-day processes ofreproductive rights political work.  

Job Location: Remote or Hybrid in Chicago, IL

Qualifications

We are looking for self-motivated, energetic leaders. In the fast-paced environment of political work, all interns must conduct themselves in a professional, mature manner. Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following:

●      A passion for politics and specifically the issue of reproductive rights

●      Strong organizational skills

●      Independent initiative on projects

●      Excellent verbal and written communication skills

●      General knowledge of basic computer programs(Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc)

●      Willingness to lead grassroots activities (phone banking and engaging with donors, stakeholders, and leaders at events)

●      Ability to take direction while working independently

●      Respect for deadlines and punctuality

●      Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced,high-stakes environment

●      Attention to detail
